I just checked www.london-marathon.co.uk and discovered that the 2008 London Marathon starts in 3 months, 3 days, 17 hours and 57 minutes... or thereabouts...
The GOOD news is that the Paul Ackrill charity are going to register on the JustGiving website which will make it MUCH easier to collect pledges and donations. Thanks to Gill for sorting that one out.
Wednesday night is a SRC run night but it might be a day off for me. I had a late night out last night at my public speaking club (did I tell you I won best speaker last night? :o) ) and I think a rest might be in order.
There's always circuit training tomorrow night to make up for it...
What's this blog all about?
You may already know that I'm a keen road runner, and that I ran the Flora London Marathon in 2007 and raised £3300 for Macmillan Cancer Care... this year decided to try once again to get a place in the Flora London Marathon.
In late November I was stunned to receive notification that I had been accepted for a ballot place, a 2008 London Marathon place was now assured.
I created this blog just to keep a record of important (and not so important) events along the way!
